When selecting imagery, ensure it is enhancing the narrative in the body copy in a beautiful way. Always consider the following when selecting imagery:

  • Imagery that intrigues and entices the viewer
  • Have a graphic composition
  • Enable typography to sit in a way that doesn't fight with the imagery
  • Includes a living element
  • Avoid images that contain text or other brand logos. E.g. T-Shirts, hats, signage in background, name tags

'WORLD NEEDS NEW' and 'NEW NEEDS YOU' brand campaign images can only be used in central marketing brand campaigns.

On campus

When photographing on and around campus consider the following:

  • Natural observational moments between students
  • Interesting crops with good use of space
  • Capturing the environment or landscape
